Shanghai golf.

HSBC are the leading sponsor behind the Shanghai Golf championship. Over the last couple of years, Saatchi & Saatchi has been the agency to create an identity for the event. 

This year the brief was to appeal to relatively young uninterested audience. They wanted the event to feel exciting and dramatic whilst always maintaining the link back to Shanghai. ​

 

Working closely with a Analog Studio, we briefed them to create a warped 3D skyline that was packed in tonnes of impact and energy using iconic buildings from the Shanghai skyline. By adding levels of craft to the visual provided we achieved a beautiful design packed with movement and energy. ​

This brief was all about energy and movement so adding a layer of craft to the 3D work after the initial brief i was able to take the design to the next level.

This campaign was a great example of quickly turning around an idea, working with other agencies and adding levels of craft, delivering a beautiful dynamic piece for HSBC.
